Sacha Rumaner has allergic reaction to mouthwash

Sacha Rumaner has allergic reaction to mouthwashOn February 2nd, 2011 Sacha went into Morley Street Family Dental Clinic for a routine teeth cleaning. During the treatment she complained of feeling hot and had itchy legs. She then collapsed into shock and the paramedics were immediately called. She was pronounced dead before her arrival at Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Sacha was only 30 years old and although it has not 100% been confirmed it seems that the likely cause was a severe allergic reaction to the mouthwash used. NHS Brighton is investigating the death further in order to try and confirm the cause of death.
More details can be read about this story in The Argus.
This really is one of those terrifyingly sad stories and it’s always a wake up to show that our time could be up at any moment in the most unexpected way. Our thoughts are with Sacha’s family and I really hope they confirm that the mouthwash was the cause and not the fault of any individual.
It’s worth getting yourself allergy checked for sure as you never know what you may encounter.
