He claimed that Murji rigged votes to win the poll.
He clarified that the money would help in financing the case. Giving details of the donations, Kulaga said out of the total amount, 9,215,000/- had been contributed by people and about 2m/- came from the contender who lost in the poll, Hassani Uledi.

“We thank all those, who have supported Uledi in filling a case against Murji, whom we believe rigged the poll to win. Their support will make legal action in court possible,” he said, adding that the supporters contributed to the course in their free will.
He informed that the cases to challenge the victory of Murji, who won on the ticket of ruling CCM and Juma Njwayo of Tandahimba also from CCM, were filed in the High Court, Mtwara Zone recently.
Meanwhile, Lindi Urban MP, Salum Khalfani called on people from Southern regions of Lindi, Mtwara and Ruvuma to support opposition parties in order to get their fundamental rights.
Addressing a public rally this week, the lawmaker urged the people to follow up and participate effectively in the process of constitutional reforms, particularly re-writing the Union Constitution.
